Hack4Med: Countdown begins
Only two days left to go the first Hackathon Non Stop 24 hours developed simultaneously in 5 regions of the Mediterranean (Hack4Med). At this contest, talented developers will have the opportunity to use all their technological expertise and skills towards creating applications which are based on more than 2.637 European public datasets, offering solutions benefits to citizens.
The organization of the event has been possible thanks to the efforts of the HOMER partners in each region (France, Greece, Italy, Montenegro and Spain), contributing to the success of the event.
The winning ideas will receive, by category and by regions involved, a wide variety of awards, including in the first category, a trip to Turin in July's event HOMER project in order to present the application to a professional public where an international jury will select and announce the final winner of Hack4Med; 'Best Application developed with Open Data federation HOMER'.
Registrations are free and open till May 17. Participants can register individually and compete in a team of four people.
