Sardinia Region presented the HOMER project during the Open Data Day held in Cagliari, the 22nd of February, 2014. The Cagliari event gathered citizens, public administrations, enterprises and universities to discuss about open data, assess the local scenario and encourage the adoption of open data policies. Also, hackathon experts, enthusiasts and curious met to scraping sessions and examination of structured datasets.
The presentation by Sardinia Region is part of the international Open Day in Italy where the Italian regions partner in HOMER project are actively participating.
Sardinia Region has recently started the process for the definition of the new programming 2014-20 using European funds. The results obtained by the development policies, measured by indicators, play an important role as they will be communicated and shared with stakeholders: citizens, entrepreneurial association, syndicate, etc.
